Dear OCEESA Members and Friends,

CIE-USA is excited to announce the launch of the 2026 National AI-Generated Content (AIGC) Video Challenge with the theme of Engineering Changes the World.

This national program invites middle school, high school, college/graduate school, and professional participants to create original AI-generated videos that address real-world challenges through engineering, creativity, and impact.

Participants may enter as individuals or teams of up to three members. The competition encourages projects that go beyond abstract ideas and instead focus on actual problem solving with meaningful social, technical, or community impact. Personal stories and authentic perspectives are strongly encouraged.

Competition categories

1. Health and Wellness – Improving the quality of daily life for ourselves and others

2. Science and Technology – Changing the world one innovation at a time

3. Community and Culture – Bringing people together through shared experiences and heritage

4. Other – Showcasing innovative ideas, challenges, or opportunities beyond the listed categories, and demonstrating how engineering, creativity, and technology can contribute to a better future

Video length

– Middle School and High School: 2–3 minutes

– College/Graduate School and Professional: 3–5 minutes

Key deadlines

– Registration Period: June 27 – July 27, 2026

– Early Bird Registration: $10 per team (through July 20, 2026)

– Regular Registration: $15 per team (July 21–27, 2026)

– Project submission deadline: August 3, 2026 (11:59 PM PDT)

– Finalist notification: August 17, 2026 (11:59 PM PDT)
