In 2022, Dr. Jentai Yang and the Overseas Chinses Environmental Engineers & Scientists Association (OCEESA) has created the “Dr. Jentai Yang Sustainable Environmental Protection and Eco-humanistic Education Fund” (Dr. Yang Fund), administered by a special committee under OCEESA. Dr. Yang Fund will provide grants for qualified projects for synergistic activities focusing on environmental protection and eco-humanistic education in the United States and the greater China area.
Currently, OCEESA is requesting grant applications for high-impact applied research projects on climate change challenges aimed to advance knowledge or technology in climate impacts, resilience, adaptation, and/or mitigation, such as research proposals relate to green storm infrastructure, climate resilience, carbon sequestration, new energy resources, and energy storage for the two-year period of 2023 to 2025.
