The Overseas Chinese Environmental Engineers and Scientists Association (OCEESA) will co-host the “Carbon Capture, Storage, Utilization and Environmental Technology Forum (CCSU and Environmental Technology Forum)” on October 22, 2023, with Lunghwa University of Science and Technology (龍華科技大學), Taiwan PM2.5 Monitoring and Control Industry Development Association (台灣PM2.5監測與控制產業發展協會), and Taiwan Chemical Society (台灣化工學會).  The forum will be held at Lunghwa University of Science and Technology in Taiwan.

The forum has two major topics – decarbonization (CCSU) and circular economy, climate change, and renewable energy (Circular Economy, Climate change, Renewable Energy). In addition to the one-day forum, a poster competition for high school, vocational, and college students will be held to promote net-zero emissions and awareness of its importance. Thru this forum, poster competition and exhibits from the experts from Taiwan, Canada, the United States, Hong Kong and Mainland China, and the hosting organizations, it is anticipated to achieve:

  1. more communication with experts from the United States, Canada, Hong Kong and Mainland China in relevant technologies and further cooperations.
  2. a carbon reduction research and education platform among hosting organizations in Taiwan
  3. technologies, strategies, and methodologies sharing.
  4. promotion of the concept and importance of net-zero emissions on campus.
